Velvet Noble Ohlen

Atlanta, GA.

Velvet is a first-generation graduate. She holds a BS in Workforce, Training, and Development from Southern Illinois University Carbondale.  Velvet is an active member of the NAACP.  She sits on the Board of Directors for Georgia Diabetes Coalition. She is the Community Liason for non-profit church organization.  She is a licensed Life & Health insurance agent. She has over 20 years of experience working in the community. She has worked on food and shelter campaigns, education, and work readiness for adults and children.  Her core mission is helping low-income families have access to education, healthcare, and food.

One Family At A Time

Our One Family At A Time Initiative is designed to help families who are experiencing financial loss or homelessness to receive a hand-up. With this program, DivasNDiamindz uses donations to help families receive food weekly and assist them in moving into their own home or apartment.

Our One Person At A Time Initiative is designed to help adult individuals who are experiencing financial loss or homelessness to receive a hand-up. With this program, DivasNDiamindz uses donations to help the individual in need receive food weekly and assist them in moving into their own home or apartment and assist with skill-building and job-placement.

One Child At A Time

Our One Child At A Time Initiative is designed to help children to learn the fundamentals of business through the implementation of a Business Center for kids ages 6-16. Activities are provided to give them a first-hand look into entrepreneurship.
